1. About Without Voices

Without Voices Global Animal Emergency Fund (“Without Voices,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the State of California, USA (EIN: 41-4059652). Our mission is to distribute emergency funding to partner organizations worldwide that provide critical care to animals in crisis — ensuring no animal is lost because help couldn’t arrive in time.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Without Voices website at withoutvoices.org (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:

• Infringe the rights of any third party
• Restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Transmit harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks

4. Donations

4.1 General Terms

• All donations are voluntary, charitable contributions made at your own discretion.
• Donations are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. Without Voices does not store or have access to your credit card information.
• By making a donation, you confirm that the funds belong to you and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
• We reserve the right to decline or return any donation at our sole discretion.

4.2 Use of Donated Funds

All donations to Without Voices are used to further our charitable mission. Funds are allocated to:

• Emergency medical care — veterinary treatment, surgery, and critical interventions for animals in immediate danger
• Rehabilitation and recovery — long-term care, rehabilitation programs, and shelter support
• Food and supply distribution — providing essential nutrition and medical supplies to partner organizations
• Organizational support — helping under-resourced animal welfare organizations maintain operations during crisis periods
• Administrative costs — a portion of funds may be used for reasonable operational expenses necessary to carry out our mission, including payment processing fees, technology, and compliance

When you donate to a specific cause, we make every reasonable effort to apply your contribution to that cause. However, if a cause becomes fully funded, is completed, or is no longer active, we reserve the right to redirect your donation to another cause or to our general fund to support our broader mission.

4.3 Recurring Donations

• Monthly recurring donations will be charged automatically on the same day each month until cancelled.
• You may cancel or modify your recurring donation at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us at support@withoutvoices.org.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charges will be made after cancellation.

4.4 Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable, as they are charitable gifts. However, we understand that errors can occur. If you believe a donation was made in error (e.g., duplicate charge, incorrect amount, or unauthorized transaction), please contact us at support@withoutvoices.org within 30 days of the transaction. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and issue refunds where appropriate.

4.5 Tax Deductibility & Receipts

Without Voices is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN: 41-4059652). Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your contribution unless otherwise stated.

Donation receipts are available for download through your account dashboard. For donations made without an account, a receipt is sent to the email address provided at the time of donation. Please consult a qualified tax professional regarding the deductibility of your specific contribution.

5. Donor Privacy

We respect your privacy. Donor information — including names, contact details, and donation amounts — is kept confidential and is never sold, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Donor information may be shared with service providers strictly for the purpose of processing donations and issuing receipts. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

If you choose to make an anonymous donation, your name will not be displayed publicly. However, we may still retain your information internally for legal and tax compliance purposes.

6. Account Registration

Certain features of the Site, such as recurring donations and donation history, require you to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
